To combat my lack of productivity when finishing my current novelette I decided to sit and write a few possible endings to aim for.

This is a method I don’t often use, most of the time things evolve well enough not to need to. Something about this story demanded it though, probably the sheer length.

So I sat in a pub and started twisting out the meanest ending I could. And without even worrying about the fate of my characters I came out with something that worked.

Now I just need to fill in that gap.

This seems pretty standard for me.
